What it takes to become successful in Network Marketing is real education and massive action. Many are fearful of doing what is necessary to have true success in our industry. It is much easier than most make it. Some try to do everything but what is necessary to build a business. What do I mean? I call it the fear factor. Fear of talking to people. That is all it takes to be successful in Network Marketing. It is easy and one that everyone already knows how to do. It may take some time to learn the closing and question asking skill but everyone knows how to speak to others. Why do we not do this? It is the fear factor, the fear of rejection, fear of hearing the word NO. I know that it is a common fear of many. How do we overcome this fear? Take the fear out of your prospecting and marketing, that’s how.


What are the common issues? First is talking to potential prospects and when you do talk to a prospect and bring up your opportunity you have the fear of answering questions and then it turns into the biggest issue we have is the one minute presentation. If you’re ever get to the point where you are trying to give a one minute presentation then you have already lost that prospect. You need to learn the some easy rejection and questions free marketing.


Here are two rejection free marketing that everyone can do to overcome the fear factor. Drop cards and Post-it note marketing. These are very inexpensive and easy to market when you are out and about in town. Once you see how easy it is and start to strengthen your speaking skills you will be on your way to overcoming the fear factor.


Drop cards are realistic looking dollar bills that when folded looks like a real $100 bill and when someone picks it up and opens the drop card it has a simple message asking them to do some action to make real dollars. Post-it notes are used the same way as drop cards. You buy a pre inked stamp with your simple message and post this everywhere you go in town. Put these on every gas pump you come up to. When you take money out of the ATM put one on the ATM. As you buy a paper put one there. Put one on the way into any door you go into and as you leave use another door and put one on as you are leaving. The is very easy for everyone to do and very little cost.


To be successful you must do what is necessary to be successful. Do not let the fear factor overcome your desire to be successful. You will hear the word NO much more than you will hear the word YES. It is a numbers game. The first thing that you’ve got to have on your mind if you want to succeed in your business is that you have to decide that absolutely no matter what happens you will never ever quit. If you were going to school for the next 4 years of your life would you invest about $200K into your education and then just quit? This sounds like a stretch as a comparison, but it’s the same concept. You have to make a decision and you must stick with it no matter what. Once you have made your decision it is no longer a matter if you will succeed but when will you succeed. It you stick with it, you can be successful much sooner than you think…


Second, you have to get focused. Put on the blinders on when you are building your business and stay away from the busy work. Do not get distracted by the non business building activities all around you. Do not worry about what others say you have to get focused on your business and stay consistent. If you want to build significant and residual income to create wealth, stay consistent in your marketing. Do not jump on the next best thing that comes in your email inbox. Stay with your core or find your core business and stick to it. The next best thing is just another distraction.


Third, is to get your education in building your business. If you want to build your business online, you must get the education of how to do that. If you’re going to do one of the many online strategies, then learn how to do it and stick with it until you have mastered it before adding another strategy. Doing too much will become a distraction. Also you must know that online marketing takes time to work or at least the free online marketing takes time to work. The Philadelphia 76ers and center Joel Embiid have agreed in principle on a 5-year, $148M extension on his rookie contract.
